Preschool and Kindergarten Day Camp

Here are photos from the preschool and kindergarten day camp. This is the Christian camp called "Cerro de Luz" which means "Hill of Light" that the Visser missionary family is building here in Siguatepeque, Honduras. Many mission teams come to help build the camp and to participate in or lead activities. There is also a four year leadership program that many Hondurans are participating in so that they can become qualified leaders at the camp. The camp just recently built a high and low ropes course and they just built some more cabins. Many local schools, churches, and other groups come to the camp. The younger children just come for the day, while the older kids usually stay overnight. There is always a time for Bible study, a worship service, fun and games, and food! I have attended many of these camps and I have always enjoyed my time there. I hope that in the future, I can return to Honduras and help out at the camp in some way.
